The rustic cottage was the original homestead on Twin Falls and is approx 70years old. We have lined and fitted it out so it is quite pleasant and a roomy living / entertainment space with 2 bedrooms. It is fully self contained ready for a nakation with a difference! The kitchen has a 4 burner cooktop, sink, microwave, toaster and kettle plus a full size fridge. Additionally there is a Barbeque on the verandah. There is also a DVD player (no TV!) and a small dvd / book library.
Please note: This is not star rated accommodation - however, it is quite comfortable & has its own self contained bathroom facilities. There is a slow combustion wood heater for the colder times of year. Firewood, however, is not complementary and wood used for burning may incur additional charges or have limited availability.
A minimum 2 night booking normally applies to the Rustic cottage bookings, especially on Long weekends / public holidays. Basic rates are for 1-2 people, 3-4 people (or both bedrooms) are an additional $40 per night. Bookings are provided on the basis that you cannot sublet the second room (unless it is part of your initial booking) as all booking requests must be through reception.
NB: We normally do not cater for children under 5 years of age nor do we accommodate pets.
The Rustic Cottage is available most days with an arrival time after 1pm and 10am leave time on your day of departure. (no departures before 7am and after 11am additional day fees may apply) Bookings essential! Rustic Cottage bookings are normally a mimimum of 2 nights.
Changes to Twin Falls CV Policy
Linen : Please bring your own top and bottom sheets / pillow slips, towels for the accommodation you are booking, due to CV cleaning issues - we normally no longer lease linen. The Rustic Cottage main bedroom has a Queen bed and a double bed in the 2nd bedroom.
Meals : With our current Covid policy - we no longer provide any meals for guests. Please bring enough food, consumables, etc, so that you are self sufficient during your stay.
