From the Pacific Highway

We are situated about 1Hour (50kms) from the Port Macquarie turnoff on the pacific highway.

Travelling from the South -
(Sydney/ Gosford/ Taree/ Kew)

Shortest way
You can take the Bago Rd turnoff past Kew/ Herons Creek (beware of the fixed speed camera!) to go to Wauchope. This road is a bit windy and bumpy in places, turn left at the roundabout in Wauchope. (Follow the Timbertown signs and then keep going!)

Staying on the highway
Go through Kew and then Herons Creek (beware of the fixed speed camera!) ignore the first Wauchope turnoff you then continue to the Oxley Highway turnoff on the large elevated roundabout. Take the the off ramp for Port Macquarie/ Wauchope and turn left again on to the Oxley Highway towards Wauchope.

From Wauchope (pronounce War-hope)
Go through Wauchope (if you need major provisions this is the place to get them!) towards Walcha on the Oxley Highway. (Follow the Timbertown signs and then keep going!) - (do not take the Ellenborough Falls road, as it goes nowhere near here!)

Go through Long Flat (last shop and fuel stop around here) and travel approx 5km to Ellenborough. When you see the Ellenborough sign take the next turn left - this is Toms Creek Road.

Take the next left and follow Toms Creek Road about 4kms and just before the dirt road starts turn onto Blue Gum lane on the left. At the top turn right over the cattle grid. You need to travel through two farms to get here. Follow the TF / Twin Falls signs further along the track. Note: If you have a low vehicle - this is a dirt track and you may need to straddle parts of the track so that you don't bottom out your vehicle. Please keep an eye out for the signs which are located at road forks. Don't just drive on without looking for the direction signs!

After the first fork in the road where the sign with TF is turn left, then follow the track around the corner. There is another fork in the road, take the left track. (Both tracks meet up again) After you cross a small rain creek turn hard right (bumpy here take it easy!) and proceed to the 1st gate.

Once you go through this gate (please do exceed 20km as this is our neighbours property) you go past an old piggery. Keep following the track after a couple of bends there is a rain creek crossing (bumpy) and then another fork (turn right!) with a small sign with TF on it. This takes you to a bypass around the 1st and 2nd creek crossings (steep descent on the other side) and at the third crossing you can take the bridge if your in a car or the creek in the case of Vans, etc. After that there is a small hill and then the final hill climb (don't go too slow - especially if its damp you need to keep momentum up) and your just about here!

When you enter the Twin Falls gate, there is a STOP sign just after it - it is important that you do not proceed with your vehicle past this point!

Please note: We have 3km of access track which is rough in places and there are three creek crossings on the way. (The first two are normally dry) They are gravel based and easy for a normal car - stay on the track and just take it easy!

** There is now a bypass around the 1st and 2nd creek crossings and a bridge on the third creek crossing for cars. Wide or heavy vehicles should still use the creek crossing(s).**

There is limited Telstra NextG mobile phone coverage at Twin Falls...
