Twin Falls Rules and Conditions of Entry.

All visitors coming on to the Twin Falls property, must agree to an indemnity statement before entry, which is reproduced below.
(This is identical to that on the main entrance gate.) It basically says that you are responsible for your own actions...
An image of a current photo ID is required to register your arrival and your agreeance to the indemnity statement.

Lawful and Legal Notice: Twin Falls is a bush retreat. A condition of entry is that you agree to the following indemnity statement:

"Slip, trip and other hazards, capable of causing extreme injury or death ARE present on these premises. Persons enter at own risk and should exercise due care for their own safety. Under no circumstances can you hold the owners and operators of Twin Falls responsible for any injuries which might be incurred."

If you do not agree to these terms and conditions you must not enter our private property.

General Rules and Common courtesy...

  • Twin Falls is a clothing free retreat - ie nude (this applies to all guests - unless it is cold). However, it is your responsibility to ensure that you maintain adequate sun protection by using sun block / shade, etc, as appropriate. If your hosts are nude - so should all guests! The pool and surrounding area is definitely a nude zone - no sarrongs, etc, permitted. If you have a desire to wear clothing on hot days you are in the wrong place!

  • Responsible consumption of alcohol is required and normally an 10.30pm (Sunday - Thursday) 11pm (Friday - Saturday) "quiet time" applies except for special events. This are when the timed lights go out!

  • Risk Warning – Things that bite or sting. Twin Falls is a bush area - please pay respect to snakes that may possibly be present. DO NOT try to kill them, (this is when most people get bitten!) merely walk quickly away from them. Beware of ticks, leeches and other biting insects that might be present. We also have stinging nettles, Queensland Stinger trees and stinging bushes. (Another great reason not to go off the walking track!)

  • Risk Warning – Trees / Storms / Gusty Winds. Being under or near trees may be dangerous and could cause injury or material loss. To mitigate these risks, we periodically, and at least annually, inspect our trees around the campgrounds to identify and rectify problems. However, trees can drop limbs, or entire trees can fall, without warning and there is no way of determining when. Thus, occupants and guests must accept these risks as inherent to being outdoors, and around the trees in our retreat. During a storm you should disconnect your power cable until it has passed and if in a tent seek refuge in the barn.

  • Risk Warning – Fires. We are located in a heavily bushed area - in the event of a extreme or catrastophic fire level or fire event you may be asked to pack and leave or relocate for your safety. Guests must not interfere with or use emergency equipement - unless there is a fire. BBQ's and fires can only be lit in the nominated areas. Absolutely no other fires permitted.

  • We are a bush retreat, not a resort or motel/hotel. As there is no rubbish collection here - could you please assist by removing your own rubbish - thanks. If you take anything into the area please ensure you bring it back out! (We do have a compost bin for scraps (no citris / onion / meat).

  • Please do not litter - smokers must not deposit cigarette butts on the ground.

  • Guests must not interfere with or remove any pool cleaning equipment from the pool.

  • We no longer have Day visits.

  • Campers once you have been allocated a campsite - you must not move to another without asking first - vehicles once parked are not to be moved. Under no circumstance is a vehicle to be driven from the B&B to the camping grounds or a vehicle from the camping grounds to the B&B or if you have booked a meal - you must walk there!

  • ALL FLORA and FAUNA are protected. Please leave everything as you found it! (Twin Falls is also a wildlife refuge.)

  • Your music, etc, must not be loud enough to be able to be heard by ANY other guests - normally an 10.30pm "curfew" applies except for special events.

  • Please stay on the existing walking trails - no 'trailblazing' is allowed and you must not go off our property under ANY circumstances.

  • No pets are permitted. Please note our wallabies, possums, goannas and other native animals are not domesticated and as such, their behaviour can be unpredictable. At no times are these visitors to our retreat to be harrassed or fed - please keep all food secure.

  • Drones : Absolutely no Recreational or Commercial Drone / Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) or any other forms of aerial photography / video / surveillance are permitted here.
